Martine trained as an ecologist,  has worked in this field for much of her life and co-founded an environmental charity in Scotland. A keen photographer for many years, her main interests being landscape and wildlife, reflecting this passion for the natural environment and the many issues involved. She has also worked closely with an arts centre in Scotland.

She hopes to use the visual power of photography to promote ecological understanding and respect. Her favourite locations are the NorthWest of Scotland, the Sussex Coast and the Pyrenees and she links these with the help of a much travelled campervan.
