The main themes that fascinate me and inform my landscape photography are those of water and desert. I have always lived near the sea and for much of my life in a very wet part of the country. I eventually reacted to this with a desire to experience places with an absence of water. This duality is fundamental to life on earth and will become more pronounced in future - the distribution of water on the planet will have a huge bearing on out continued survival.
